Project Overview

In response to the evolving needs of a client in the workforce development sector, our team embarked on a transformative project aimed at implementing intuitive self-assessment and digital competency tools. The comprehensive initiative also included the establishment of a structured process for performance and development planning, skills and competence mapping of the workforce, and the identification of organizational gaps. The cherry on top was the integration of a robust tracking and reporting system to measure the impact of training and recruitment efforts.

Project Duration and Technical Landscape

The project unfolded over a span of 4.5 months, during which our team, led by a freelance contractor, delved into the intricate task of crafting a custom WordPress plugin. The initial foundation was built upon an existing plugin, necessitating intricate modifications and the seamless incorporation of new features.

One of the critical challenges involved adapting the frontend to align with fresh designs provided in Figma, ensuring a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. The collaborative nature of the project involved constant communication and coordination among the freelance contractor, the outsourcing agency, the client, and the project leader.
